Alex graduated with distinctions from Ella Bache training center in 1999. After working through a traineeship to management level at several salons, Alex became a qualified trainer of beauty therapies and the head teacher at the Australian Academy of Beauty Therapy. Alex also practices make-up artistry and graduated in 2001 from Makeup Glamor Technicians, topping the class in the Certificate IV of Makeup Artistry.
Alex then devoted an additional eighteen months of study to become a specialist bridal make-up, photographic make-up, film and special effects makeup artist.
